A warehouse operation in Atlanta, GA was preparing for a scheduled expansion to increase pallet storage capacity and improve inbound product handling. The facility required new pallet rack components staged for immediate installation to maintain continuity between material reception and deployment activities. The customer’s goal was to minimize lead time, avoid workflow disruption, and ensure system scalability as operational demands increased.

Project Overview

This project involved delivering structurally matched pallet rack components to support the customer’s upcoming expansion. The shipment needed to arrive organized, labeled, and ready for direct installation. Timing was critical, as the expansion work needed to align with ongoing warehouse operations to maintain schedule integrity.

Project Challenges

  • Eight‑foot beams

  • Twenty‑foot uprights

  • New 42 x 46 inch wire decks

The materials were selected based on load capacity, scalability, and compatibility with the customer’s established rack layout. Every pallet of material was staged in organized groupings, allowing installation crews to transition directly from offload to assembly without re‑sorting or spatial realignment.

  • All rack components arrived fully staged and ready for immediate installation.
