Mixed‑Material Pallet Rack Installation

Location: Undisclosed
Date: May 12, 2025
Project Type: Rapid‑Deployment Storage System Using Mixed Components

Client Background

A warehouse undergoing rapid inventory expansion required additional pallet storage capacity installed on an accelerated timeline. The solution needed to pair speed of deployment with dependable load capability, ensuring the facility could begin storing product immediately upon completion.

Project Overview

The objective of this project was to install a mixed‑material pallet rack system capable of supporting high‑frequency warehouse operations without delay. The system configuration needed to balance strength, accessibility, and layout clarity under time‑sensitive conditions.

Project Challenges

  1. The installation had to be completed rapidly to support immediate stocking activity.

  2. Mixed‑material integration required precise alignment to maintain safe pallet handling and uniform elevation spacing.

  3. Layout optimization had to allow for efficient forklift movement and direct pallet access from day one.

  4. Structural consistency needed to support ongoing heavy use without requiring rework or adjustments.

Solution and System Implementation

Bogardus installed a mixed‑material rack configuration that included:

  • Sixteen‑foot uprights

  • Eight‑foot beams

  • Forty‑two by forty‑six inch wire decks

Installation sequencing focused on deployment speed while maintaining structural reliability. Uprights were anchored and aligned, beams were leveled for consistent deck positioning, and spacing was calibrated to preserve forklift travel efficiency.

Results and Outcomes

  • The customer received a high‑capacity pallet storage system installed and ready for immediate operational use.

  • Rapid deployment supported uninterrupted inbound inventory planning and execution.

  • The configuration provided reliable load support and clean aisle organization.

  • The installation facilitated smooth material flow and optimized warehouse staging efficiency.

Long‑Term Impact

The mixed‑material system delivered a dependable and scalable storage asset capable of sustaining daily warehouse activity. The installation improved operational readiness, increased usable pallet capacity, and supported continued expansion without requiring subsequent layout modifications.

Heavy‑Duty Cantilever Storage System Installation

Location: Lakeland, FL
Date: May 6, 2025
Project Type: Long‑Product Cantilever System for Enhanced Material Handling

Client Background

A warehouse facility in Lakeland, FL required a vertical cantilever storage solution to handle long, bulky materials that could not be stored on traditional pallet rack. The customer needed improved material organization, safer handling conditions, and efficient loading processes to support daily warehouse operations.

Project Overview

The objective was to supply and install a durable cantilever system engineered to support oversized products while enhancing accessibility and visibility. The system needed to provide reliable load support, efficient forklift access, and organized presentation of stored materials.

Project Challenges

  1. Long‑length materials required specialized vertical support incompatible with standard pallet rack.

  2. The system needed sufficient structural rigidity to withstand frequent loading and retrieval activity.

  3. Installation spacing had to support safe forklift maneuvering in both yard and indoor warehouse areas.

  4. Vertical height needed to maximize storage volume while maintaining visibility and handling clearance.

Solution and System Implementation

Bogardus installed a heavy‑duty cantilever system using:

  • One‑hundred ninety‑two inch cantilever towers

  • Forty‑eight inch bases

  • Forty‑eight inch arms

  • Sixty inch bracers for reinforcement and system stability

All components were aligned, anchored, and braced to ensure long‑term durability and stable vertical support. Installation sequencing ensured optimal spacing for forklift loading and retrieval.

Results and Outcomes

  • The system provided organized storage for long and bulky materials previously difficult to handle.

  • Loading efficiency improved through clearer forklift access pathways and elevated material positioning.

  • Material visibility increased, reducing retrieval time and improving handling accuracy.

  • Yard‑to‑warehouse workflow experienced measurable improvement through improved staging and organization.

Long‑Term Impact

The cantilever system delivered durable, high‑capacity support for oversized inventory, increasing safety and reducing operational inefficiencies. The installation now serves as a reliable foundation for ongoing yard and warehouse activity, improving both organization and handling performance.
